A life-long cycler, Shelley Porter is also a born storyteller. She climbed aboard her first bike, a gold CCM step through, at age seven, and almost literally hasn’t been off a bike since. She is a highly regarded member of the cycling community, serving as editor of the Velo Cape Breton newsletter. She uses her considerable energy to share her passion for nature and the bicycle with students and readers across Canada, working as a writer, public speaker, and CAN-BIKE instructor.
