Jesse Francis works in a partnership position for the Prince Edward Island Mi’kmaw organization L’nuey and Parks Canada. He has managed or contributed to a wide range of projects in the fields of history, heritage and culture, and ecology and conservation. This book is the second co-authored by Jesse and John. Their first, Ni’n na L’nu: The Mi’kmaq of Prince Edward Island, won several awards including the 2014 prize for that year’s best Atlantic-Canada-published book. He lives in Wellington, Prince Edward Island with his wife Moira and their three children.
