Helen Coldrick

Helen is a self-taught artist who developed her craft through long hours of sketching and painting. The covered bridges of our picture province have often found their way into her work.

After graduating from Salisbury Regional High School in 1956, Helen left Native New Brunswick and headed for the west coast. While raising her family she had the opportunity to travel throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Alaska and the Northwestern United States. The vast and varied landscapes provided inspiration for hours of sketching and painting.

Like many New Brunswickers Helen returned to the place of her birth after more than twenty years away. She settled in Salisbury in 1980 and began to share her expertise with aspiring artists of all ages.

in the summer and teaches art classes in the winter. In addition she still finds time to pursue her own artwork. Helen is a member of the Moncton Art Society and exhibits her work at various art shows throughout New Brunswick.
