How will my online order be shipped?
We normally ship Canada Post ground across North America. Your order, if in stock, will leave our warehouse the day after payment is confirmed. If you require faster delivery, please let us know. Other delivery services are also more expensive. We can offer Fed Ex (the most expensive but quickest way to get a parcel), Priority Post, and other couriers.
How do I pay for my online order?
We accept pre-payment by cheque, money order, and/or credit card. VISA or MASTERCARD are accepted. When placing your order through our secure internet site, you will be asked to choose how to pay. If you choose to pay other than by credit card, you will be asked to contact customer service for information on placing your order.
Can I return a book I bought on the website?
Books purchased through our website may be returned if they are damaged. Please let us know the problem by calling us or emailing our customer service desk so we can assess the proper course of action. We usually require that you return the book before we will send out another, but there are always exceptions, so please call first. We will not accept packages COD unless there has been prior approval.
To get approval, you will need to contact us.
We will not accept returns for cash from website orders.

Submitting a manuscript

I submitted a manuscript to Nimbus or Vagrant. When will I hear from you?
After submitting a manuscript to Nimbus Publishing or Vagrant Press you will receive a postcard indicating that your submission was received. Nimbus is not accepting unsolicited manuscripts anymore, so you will only be contacted beyond the postcard if we decide to accept your work. Vagrant will send you a follow-up letter responding to your manuscript anytime up to six months after we receive your manuscript.
How can I contact an author?
We cannot give out an authors contact information to the public but we are happy to pass on letters that you send to us.

Where can I purchase copy of a Nimbus book?
Nimbus books are available at your local bookstore. If they are not in stock, the bookstore can usually order it for you. Nimbus books are also available at online retailers, or through our own website. Check out our list of online bookstores.
